On your flight over to Hurghada you should receive a Egyptian immigration landing card, requiring your personal details and where you are staying in Egypt. If you do not receive a card ask for one inside the terminal building or when you purchase your visa. To obtain a visa, go straight to the Banks and currency exchange kiosks inside the terminal building, they are located before the customs and immigration counters. For visits of up to 30 days, you can get a visa by cash payment in Sterling, US Dollars or Euros; the visa fee is US$25. Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into Egypt. The same Cashier can also exchange any currency you wish to convert into EGP.

After purchasing your visa, proceed to the Immigration counter where you have to present your passport and landing card, your passport is then stamped for entry. Your visa stamp is then checked again by an Airport official before you descend the escalators to the ground floor where the luggage conveyor belts , customs and the exit of the Airport are all located.

The Departures area can be very busy throughout the day and night. We always advise to be at the Airport at least 2 1/2 hours before your flight departure time. Once inside Hurghada Airport you will be greeted with X-Ray Machines, once your luggage is x-rayed you proceed to the check in desks opposite. You will be given a departure card which needs to be fllled in and given to the Immigration desk. Once your passport visa has been stamped you are then checked again and your hand luggage x-rayed before you exit for your Flight Departure Gate.
